Peace Corps

7,671 Peace Corps Volunteers work in 77 countries in projects defined by the sectors of education, health, agriculture, environment, small enterprise development and youth development. The specific activities and outcomes of the projects are defined by local conditions. Youth enterprise or livelihood activities typically fall in the small enterprise development or youth development sectors. Common activities include youth entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, workplace readiness, mentoring or internship development and small enterprise or income-generating training. In addition, Volunteers in all sectors frequently support English education and information and communications technologies (ICT) for young people.
